**Please note that you cannot create a new Extended Health Care coverage without setting up Benefit Plan and Benefit Summary. See articles "How to create a new Benefit Plan?" and "How to create a new Benefit Summary? " if needed.**
Step 1: Log into the platform through https://login.cloudadvisors.ca/ (read the article "how to log into Cloudadvisors.ca?" article, if needed.)
Step 2: Enter your client name in the "Group" search tab
For example, if the group name is "Dunder Mifflin," type "Dunder" in the tab and search, the group name should show up under the search tab. If not, it means the client group is not on the platform yet, and you need to create one.
--> Read "How to create a New Group?" article if needed.
Step 3: When your client's name shows up under the search bar, click on your client. You will see the name is locked in the Group search bar.
Step 4: Click on "Benefit Plans" --> "Benefits" --> "Extended Health Care" in the drop-down of the Navigation Bar on the left side.
--> You will be on this page:
If you see your client shows up at the "No data available in table" section, it means the Extended Health Care details for your client are already created.
---> Read "How to edit Extended Health Care?" if needed.
Step 5: Click on "Add New Extended Health Care" on the top right corner.
Step 6: Ensure to choose the division & class you want to add the coverage for.
Step 7: You will notice the "Policy and Eligibility" section comes up again, which is the same as the section we saw in Benefit Summary. Everything got copied over from there, but feel free to change any details if you need it. You can also find "Termination Age" at the end of this section.
Step 8: Fill out the information on Overall Deductible and Maximum
Step 9: Fill out the information on Drug Coverage.
If you only have one percentage for Drug coverage, just click on the "+" sign on the right (circled in orange), and enter your drug coverage under the "Drug Tier Coinsurance" column under Drug Tier. For example, if the plan's coverage is 80% of Mandatory Generic Drug, your Drug Tier will look like this:
If you have a Preferred Pharmacy with different coverage, make sure you label the Prefered Pharmacy (see screenshot below), create two Drug Tiers by clicking on the "+" sign on the right (circled in orange), and enter the drug coverage accordingly. For example, if the coverage is 80% of the Mandatory Generic Drug, but 90% coverage for the Low Cost Alternative drug from Costco, your Drug Tiers will look like this:
If your plan has a dispensing fee cap, choose "Yes" for Drug Dispensing Fee Cap, and enter the amount under "Dispensing Fee Cap" (as screenshot below).
Step 10: Fill out information on Hospital Coverage, Medical Services, and Eye Exam/Vision Care coverage. Your entry can look like this:
If you have coverage that includes two tiers, clicking on the "+" sign on the right (circled in orange) twice to get the correct tiers, and enter the coverage accordingly. For example, if the coverage is "80% of the first $1000, and 100% of the remaining," your entry will look like this:
Step 11: Fill out Paramedical Practitioner coverage.
To speed up the data entry process, the system will copy the coverage you entered for "Psychologist" to the rest of the Common Practitioners, but feel free to make any changes you need!
If you have combined maximum coverage for certain practitioners, use the "Combined Maximum" column, and choose the practitioners on the list. For example, in the screenshot below, Social Worker and Psychologist's coverage are combined. I then labeled "Psychologist" for the Combined Maximum of Master of Social Work. Doctor Referral is on the next column if you need it.
The system also assumes every plan has paramedical practitioner coverage. If your plan doesn't have the coverage, please make sure you label it to "No" (as screenshot below).
Step 12: Fill out Emergency Travel Medical coverage.
Please note that the "Overall Maximum" is not "Referral Maximum."
Step 13: Click "Save Extended Health Care" on the bottom right to save all the data.
When you see this message pop out (as screenshot below), that means your Extended Health Care plan is created! Click "OK" to continue.
If you have multiple classes to enter, please repeat step 5 to 13 to create the coverage for every class.
