The BAR Score is a summary of benchmarking and a measure of the overall competitive value of an employee benefits plan. If you suspect your BAR Score is lower than it should be, here is a troubleshooting guide:
1. Upload all Benefits and Retirement Plans - BAR Score will only reflect the plans that are uploaded to CloudAdvisors so be sure all plans and all details are shared, including multiple providers, retirement plans as well as supplemental benefits for things like EAP, Second Opinion and more.
2. Upload all Divisions and Classes - BAR Score gives preference to full time employee classes so make sure in addition to owners, management, executive, retirees or part time classes that you upload the regular employee class labelled either "Full Time Employees" or "Union Employees".
3. Update the Governance Checklist - even if you don't have access to Retirement Plan details for example you can mark that a group has certain features or profile information like a Retirement Plan on the Governance Review page.
4. Wait 1 day. The BAR Score is updated at the end of each day so if you've just added a plan or made changes you won't have a new score until the next morning
